What is laser engraving?
Laser engraving, which is a subset of laser marking, is the practice of using lasers to engrave an object. As a branding method it lasts almost forwever, outlasting other methods like pad and screen printing.
As opposed to Laser Cutting?
Laser cutting is the process of using a powerful laser to cut and/or engrave items from flat sheets of material like plastic, wood and many other materials. … By reducing the beam power you can mark the surface of the material, this is known as etching or engraving and can give some stunning effects on wood and plastic.
Materials that can be Laser Engraved
| Material | cutting | marking |
|---|---|---|
| Plastic | ||
| Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) | ⚫ | ⚫ |
| Acrylic/PMMA, i.e. Plexiglas® | ⚫ | ⚫ |
| Rubber | ⚫ | |
What is the difference between laser etching and engraving?
Laser engraving is accomplished by using a high heat laser that causes the material surface to vaporize. … Furthermore, Etching and engraving are both methods of cutting lines into a hard surface, such as metal. The primary difference between them is that engraving is a physical process and etching is a chemical process.

Those take-away cups you use to get your morning coffee fix are not as recyclable as you may think. They are usually lined with a membrane of plastic to make them waterproof. This means they are not biodegradable and are not recyclable alongside paper. The result is that they end up in landfills, or floating around in our oceans.
We can all help to reduce the production of around 500 billion of these coffee cups each year. Simply turn to your reusable Kooshty Kork Kup to hold your hot drink. Most coffee shops will be happy to put your beverage into your Kooshty Kup, and may even give you a discount for saving them the cost of the single-use cup.
The Kooshty Kork Kup is made from borosilicate glass, which can withstand high temperatures. It has a food grade splash-proof silicone drinking lid, and a cork band which keeps that heat from your hand.
Cork is a completely natural, recurring and easily renewable material. It can be harvested without harming the tree, and grows back periodically every few years. Only about 50% of the bark is removed at the time of harvesting. It is also biodegradable, and will break down into the environment at the end of its life cycle.
Use & Care
Wash before first use.
Dishwasher safe, top shelf only. Remove the cork band first.
Microwave safe.
Caution
Use with care when consuming hot beverages.
Do not overfill.
Ensure lid is secure before drinking.
Do not hold glass filled with hot liquid without the cork sleeve.
Do not use glassware that is chipped or cracked.

No job is completely perfect but, for the most part if you do what you love as a career you`ll find peace of mind, contentment and be happy. The more you enjoy your job, the harder you will work. These are statistical facts, proven over and over.
Let’s look at some of the reasons why you should follow your passion in your career path:
1. Your health will improve.
